Patient-Centred Care & ICF Framework for Physiotherapists

This online physiotherapy CPD course equips physiotherapists with practical tools to deliver person-centred care using the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) as a guiding framework. Grounded in ethical practice and clinical relevance, the course clarifies how to define and apply patient-centred care across diverse settings.

You’ll learn to integrate ICF domains into assessment, clinical reasoning, documentation, and collaborative goal-setting—ensuring care plans reflect the whole person, not just the diagnosis. The course also addresses common barriers to inclusive care, including cultural, systemic, and communication challenges, with practical strategies to overcome them.

Ideal for clinicians new to the ICF or those looking to strengthen their person-centred approach, this course supports care that is respectful, inclusive, and aligned with what matters most to patients.
