The postnatal period is a critical phase of recovery following pregnancy and childbirth, with increased risk of pelvic floor dysfunction, musculoskeletal pain, fatigue, and reduced functional capacity. This 2-hour CPD webinar equips physiotherapists and allied health professionals with practical, evidence-based strategies to assess and manage common postnatal conditions.The course addresses key areas including pelvic floor rehabilitation, core recovery, scar care, sexual health, pacing, and return to activity, with a strong focus on individualised care and multidisciplinary collaboration. Emphasis is placed on safe clinical decision-making and timely referral for complex or persistent symptoms.

Gehan Baalawi is a UK-trained physiotherapist with a strong focus on evidence-based practice, holistic assessment, and patient-centred rehabilitation. She is a graduate of the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol, and a registered member of the HCPC and CSP (UK). Her academic and clinical interests include pain modulation, validated screening tools, and integrated postnatal care.
